Job Description:

Join a specialized behavioral health unit as an RN in Holyoke, Massachusetts, for a 13-week contract working in a beautifully maintained, state-of-the-art facility. This role places you on a forensic unit focusing on adult patients with mental health conditions such as bipolar disorder, schizoaffective disorder, and major depression. You’ll work 8-hour daytime shifts, providing compassionate, trauma-informed care within a secure environment. The unit boasts one of the lowest restraint rates in the state, backed by dedicated staff and comprehensive support teams—including psychiatrists, social workers, and rehab specialists—to ensure quality patient outcomes. Orientation occurs bi-weekly on Tuesdays. Experience working with mental health patients in a locked setting, along with the ability to pass medications utilizing Omni Cell, is required.
