Job Description:

This RN position in the Special Care Nursery at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital offers a unique opportunity to work in a modern, well-equipped neonatal unit serving neonates from full-term to pre-term across an 8-bed nursery. The role involves caring for newborns with various diagnoses such as NAS and TTN, performing resuscitations when needed, and collaborating with a team of over 170 physicians and 1,200 healthcare professionals. The shift is scheduled for 12-hour days, providing a predictable routine while allowing you to experience the heart of Kentucky’s healthcare scene. It’s a chance to apply your NICU expertise in an environment that highly values advanced neonatal care and specialized certifications, including NRP, STABLE, and BLS.
