Job Description:

Join a community-focused hospital in Covington, WA, as a Registered Nurse specializing in pre-operative care. This contract offers a unique opportunity to work primarily during 10-hour shifts, typically starting around 0900, with some flexibility earlier or later in the day. Travelers will be involved in SIMPLIFI CLINICAL INTERVIEWING, discharge procedures, patient education, and assessments, primarily supporting pediatric, ENT, general, gyn, ortho, sports medicine, total joints, and urology cases. Experience with IV procedures, inpatient charting in EPIC, and familiarity with Alaris and Pyxis are beneficial. The role includes floating to Auburn during low census times and may involve working in PACU or Phase 2 discharge settings. The schedule is on a rotating on-call basis, mostly covering weeknights and weekends, providing a varied but rewarding workload. Travelers will experience the rhythm of a busy hospital with a focus on efficient, compassionate patient turnover.
