Job Description:

This PACU Registered Nurse role at the Center for Advanced Medicine in St. Louis offers a dynamic environment where you'll manage complex postoperative patients in a Level I Trauma PACU setting. The position involves working primarily pre-op and post-op care, with approximately 85% of patients coming from same-day surgeries. You'll handle high-acuity cases, including managing drains, vasoactive drips, mechanical ventilation, and anesthesia recovery. The shift is a 10-hour rotating schedule, typically Monday through Friday, with 24 hours of on-call duties during a six-week cycle. Experience in critical care or a Level I Trauma Center PACU is required, along with certifications in ACLS and BLS. Epic charting and Relias EKG exam passing are also essential. This assignment is designed for professionals who thrive in a fast-paced, flexible environment and are comfortable managing multiple high-level cases within a busy recovery setting.
