Job Description:

Join our team in Birmingham, Alabama, as a Registered Nurse specializing in Ortho/Surgery Post-op on a 13-week temporary contract. You'll work 12-hour night shifts, providing care in a fast-paced surgical unit with 30 beds and a patient ratio of 6:1. Your primary responsibilities will include bedside reporting, managing post-op recovery, and ensuring timely patient assessments. This assignment offers the opportunity to hone your skills in orthopedic and surgical post-op care while working within an Epic electronic medical record system. The position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience, BLS certification, and a positive, quick-thinking attitude to keep pace with the demanding environment.
