Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignment places you in a busy Med Surg Intermediate Care unit in Wausau, Wisconsin, working 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. You'll be supporting a 36-bed unit that cares for a variety of patients, including those with ventilator needs, traumas, strokes, and post-surgical cases. Expect to maneuver a fast-paced environment where adaptability and resilience are key. The role involves floating to higher acuity units when needed, and you'll be expected to stay current with certifications like BLS, ACLS, and your WI RN license. Prior experience in stepdown or intermediate care, ventilator management, and charting with EPIC are essential. This assignment offers an engaging opportunity to work with a dedicated team in a stable, well-equipped setting while enjoying the scenic surroundings of central Wisconsin.
