Job Description:

Join UW Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin, for a rewarding 13-week contract working as an inpatient rehab nurse. This role involves providing high-acuity care to adults recovering from strokes, brain and spinal cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic conditions. You'll mainly work 12-hour daytime shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with every other weekend and holiday rotations. The setting is akin to a medical-surgical unit, where flexibility and teamwork are key. Expect to handle a patient load of roughly seven patients, using EPIC for charting and supporting patients' journey back to independence. This assignment offers an opportunity to sharpen your skills in a specialized rehab environment while making a meaningful difference in patients’ lives.
