Job Description:

Join a dynamic healthcare team as a PACU Registered Nurse in San Francisco. This 13-week contract offers 8-hour day shifts, with the flexibility to float between UCSF facilities as needed. You’ll be delivering essential post-anesthesia care, managing airway, anesthesia recovery, and pain control, all while working in preoperative and extended care units. The role is well-suited for experienced nurses with at least five years of healthcare experience and three years specifically in PACU. Your expertise in airway management and anesthesia recovery will be key, along with your ability to adapt to different units. Certification requirements include a California RN license, BSN, and current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS. Having a CCRN or CPAN certification, along with critical care experience, will make your application even more standout. Expect a schedule from 06:00 to 14:30, five days a week, for a total of 40 hours each week. This assignment offers a great opportunity to sharpen your skills in a reputable hospital setting while exploring vibrant San Francisco.
