Job Description:

Join a specialized NICU nursing team for a 13-week travel assignment in Seattle, Washington. This role involves providing expert care in a Level III or IV NICU setting, caring for premature infants born at 23-24 weeks gestation. Your nights will be filled with monitoring high-frequency ventilators, managing PICC lines, assisting with high-risk deliveries, and supporting neonatal surgeries. The schedule offers 12-hour night shifts, giving you the opportunity to focus intensely on your patients while enjoying your days off. Unlike typical roles, this assignment emphasizes expertise in the most critically ill newborns, offering an environment that’s both challenging and rewarding for experienced NICU RNs.

Weather:

Seattle typically enjoys mild, rainy conditions this time of year, with cool temperatures and a vibrant, lush landscape. Expect occasional drizzle and overcast days, creating a cozy atmosphere perfect for exploring local cafes and cultural spots between shifts.

Fun Things To Do:

  • Seattle Aquarium – Discover local marine life just by the waterfront.
  • Olympic National Park – Take a day trip to explore stunning forests, mountains, and coastline.
  • Chihuly Garden and Glass – Experience breathtaking glass art installations.
