Job Description:

This travel assignment offers a unique opportunity to work as an inpatient nurse at a specialized rehabilitation hospital in Madison, Wisconsin. You will be providing nursing care for adult patients with high-acuity needs, including those recovering from stroke, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic conditions. The role involves a 12-hour night shift and requires hands-on involvement in a setting that closely resembles a medical-surgical environment. You'll assist patients in their recovery journeys, participate in interdisciplinary teams, and help maximize patient outcomes. Job Specifics:

Shift: 12-hour nights (6:30 PM to 7:00 AM)

This role requires at least one year of nursing experience in a skilled nursing or similar 24/7 environment, with preferred inpatient rehab or med-surg background. The unit is equipped with advanced mobility devices and uses the EPIC EHR system. Expect to participate in rotating weekends and holidays, with call responsibilities. You will be working in a high-acuity setting, providing essential support to patients and collaborating closely with a dedicated team led by Nurse Manager Liz Buroker.
