Job Description:

This 13-week travel nurse assignment at UW Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin, offers a rewarding opportunity to work in a specialized inpatient rehabilitation setting. You'll be caring for adults with high acuity needs following strokes, spinal injuries, amputations, or complex orthopedic conditions. Job Specifics:

Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Shift: 12-hour nights (6:30 pm – 7:00 am)

Patient population: Adults requiring inpatient rehab services with high acuity needs
Additional notes: The role requires at least 1 year of nursing experience in a skilled nursing or similar 24/7 environment, with preferred med-surg or inpatient rehab background. You'll work in a high-functioning unit with a patient ratio of 1:7, utilizing advanced mobility equipment, hospital electronic records, and working closely with a dedicated team led by Nurse Manager Liz Buroker.
