Job Description:

Join a specialized NICU respiratory and neuro diagnostics unit as a Respiratory Therapist. This 26-week travel contract offers the chance to work in a vibrant children's hospital, focusing on critically ill infants and children in a Level 4 NICU setting. The role involves working 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a self-scheduling model that provides some flexibility, though schedule preferences are not guaranteed. Be prepared to work every other weekend and holiday, including two out of three winter holidays. This position emphasizes critical respiratory and neuro diagnostics, making it ideal for respiratory therapists with NICU experience and a passion for caring for vulnerable patients. Cardiac PICU experience is a plus, and compliance with BLS, NRP, and RRT certification is required. Pending Virginia license and a valid license from another state are necessary, with the possibility of a temporary license if needed. Experience working in a children's hospital environment and familiarity with advanced pediatric respiratory protocols will help you excel in this role.
