Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignment places you in a high-paced, Level I Trauma Center emergency department in Omaha, Nebraska. As an ER nurse, you'll work 12-hour day shifts, providing advanced patient care to trauma, stroke, sepsis, chest pain, and shortness of breath cases. The role involves interpreting monitor strips, managing trauma drips, and coordinating with both physicians and mid-level providers. You'll be supporting a well-staffed team with charge nurses, nurse aides, EMTs, and paramedics, all while navigating a fast-moving environment that demands sharp assessment skills. Unique to this assignment is the orientation process, including shifts at affiliated hospitals, and adherence to specific policies like artificial nail restrictions, ensuring a focus on safety and professionalism.
