Job Description:

This ER Registered Nurse position places you right in the heart of an urban Level I Trauma Emergency Department, providing essential patient care during night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. As a vital team member, you will handle a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4, applying your one year of emergency room experience in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. The role offers the opportunity to work in a teaching hospital, enriching your expertise while engaging with a diverse patient population. You'll be responsible for managing acute care needs, documenting in Epic EHR, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Floating to other units may be required, but the core focus remains on delivering exceptional care during overnight hours over a 13-week contract. Clear communication, quick thinking, and adaptability are your tools in this challenging yet rewarding setting.
