Job Description:

Join a Mother Baby Unit in Asheville, North Carolina, for an engaging 13-week travel contract as a registered nurse. This role offers a consistent 12-hour day shift schedule, providing ample opportunity to settle into a predictable routine. You'll work with a dedicated team caring for a 34-bed private couplet unit, managing patient ratios of 1:3-4, and using advanced equipment like Alaris pumps and bilirubin lights. The role emphasizes supporting post-delivery mothers, including caring for patients on Magnesium Sulfate, and involves procedures such as circumcisions. Previous Mother Baby experience and certifications like BLS and NRP are required, with travel experience and STABLE certification preferred.
