Job Description:

Join our team as a Cardiac Renal Unit RN working the night shift at Deaconess Gateway in Newburgh, IN. This 13-week contract offers an opportunity for experienced telemetry nurses to manage post-cardiac procedures, complex cardiac cases, and patients with conditions like ESRD, CHF, and sepsis. You'll be responsible for interpreting 12-lead EKGs, managing drips like Cardizem and Amio, and performing PIV insertions—all while navigating a unit with a dedicated leadership team and a focus on resilience and adaptability. Expect to float within the same campus and to nearby locations with a 2-hour notice, ensuring your skills are put to good use across different settings without missing a beat. The shift runs from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with a weekly commitment of 36 hours, including three weekends out of every six-week schedule and every other holiday. The role emphasizes critical thinking and assessment skills, with a requirement for recent EPIC charting experience and a current compact license.
