Job Description:

Join a specialized cardiac ICU team in Omaha, NE, for a 15-week contract working 12-hour night shifts. In this role, you'll care for patients requiring intermediate heart and vascular care, including those post-surgical, with diagnoses such as CHF, A fib RVR, and patients in cath lab or structural heart programs. Expect to titrate medications like amio, nitro, and epi, and work alongside a hospitalist and intensivist team. This assignment offers a hands-on experience in a critically acute environment where detailed interpretation of telemonitors and precise medication management are key. The setting supports advanced equipment like BiPAP and CPAP, with a focus on patient stability and complex cardiac diagnoses. You'll be integral to a team that functions with a heavy patient load, still maintaining a focus on safety and accuracy in patient care.
