Job Description:

This 13-week contract offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced ICU environment within a tertiary healthcare facility. As a registered nurse on the Med Surg ICU unit, you'll be responsible for managing adult and pediatric patients with complex conditions such as respiratory failure, sepsis, stroke, and post-surgical recoveries. The shift is 12 hours overnight, providing a quieter and more focused atmosphere to apply your skills. You'll collaborate closely with physicians, monitor advanced equipment like Draeger telemetry, titrate drips including vasopressors and sedatives, and assist in emergency situations such as RRTs and codes. This role emphasizes teamwork, critical thinking, and adaptability—perfect for nurses eager to thrive in a high-volume, dynamic setting with a supportive team.
