Job Description:

Embark on a 13-week travel nursing adventure at a prominent community hospital in Lake Havasu City, AZ, known for its scenic mountain ranges and tranquil lake views. You'll provide skilled RN M/S Telemetry care on 12-hour night shifts, managing a busy 40-bed unit with adult and geriatric patients, including those with complex medical conditions like CHF, CKD, and post-surgical scenarios. The role involves floating to various units such as IMC and ED, offering a rich, hands-on experience in acute care. Expect to handle a patient load of up to six, utilizing advanced equipment like Baxter IV pumps, Zoll defibrillators, and Medhost EHR. No block scheduling requests are permitted, but flexibility in shift scheduling can be discussed. You’ll work a guaranteed 36 hours weekly, with four weekend shifts within a four-week period. Certifications such as ACLS and a minimum of two years of recent tele or acute care experience are required. This assignment offers a chance to sharpen clinical skills while exploring one of Arizona’s most outdoor recreational spots—balanced with the chance to enjoy nearby cities and outdoor excursions.
