Job Description:

Join our team as a Radiology Technologist on a 13-week travel assignment in Santa Cruz, CA. This role involves operating Siemens Sensation 64 and GE Light Speed 16 CT scanners, primarily during 10-hour night shifts. You will be responsible for performing scans with patient ratios of approximately 10-20 depending on the shift, often handling ER cases, virtual colonography, and gated procedures. The position offers a unique opportunity to work within a hospital setting that features hospitalist or intensivist coverage during the day, while radiologists are available for interpretation via Nighthawk for night shifts. Expect to work with EMR systems like Cerner and McKesson PACS. Flexibility with floating and orientation to specific floors is required. If you enjoy the technical aspects of radiology imaging with a hint of night shift camaraderie, this assignment could be an excellent fit.
