Job Description:

Join our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit as a PICU Registered Nurse in Charleston, SC, for a 13-week contract that offers a chance to float across all pediatric units at SJCH, including CVPICU, NICU, and PICU. This role involves working three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with every other weekend and holiday rotations. You’ll be providing specialized pediatric critical care, managing patient ratios of 1:2 or 1:3, and ensuring top-tier care during your shift. The assignment requires at least two years of pediatric ICU experience, and flexibility to float within scope is essential. Certification requirements include BLS and PALS through the American Heart Association. Experience with ECMO or CRRT is preferred but not required. Remember, during hurricane season, all staff may be called to emergency response duties. This position offers the opportunity to make a positive impact while experiencing the charm of Charleston.
