Job Description:

Join a step-down cardiac nursing team that handles a diverse mix of patients, including pulmonary, cardiac, neuro, GI, and post-surgical cases. In this role, you'll work in a 20-bed unit with mostly private rooms, providing care for stable but higher-risk patients who require close monitoring without invasive procedures. The shift is a 12-hour day, with 36 hours committed weekly over a 14-week contract. You’ll help manage critical drips such as Amiodarone, Esmolol, Insulin, Lasix, Cardizem, and Nitroglycerin, while collaborating with a team aiming for a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio. Experience with cardiac or step-down units, along with BLS and ACLS certification, is required. This assignment offers a great opportunity to deepen your cardiac nursing skills in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
