Job Description:

This step-down registered nurse position offers a unique opportunity to work in a high-volume, Level Trauma Short Term Acute Care facility with 1,266 beds in St. Louis, MO. You will be responsible for managing patients on telemetry units, including vent management, trach care, and complex procedures like port access and central line care. The role involves 12-hour night shifts, with a guaranteed 48 hours per week over a 13-week assignment. Expect to interpret EKGs, manage dysrhythmias, and collaborate closely with respiratory therapists on vent-related tasks.
