Job Description:

This 13-week contract places you in the bustling Emergency Department of a New York hospital, working 12-hour night shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. As a dedicated nurse, you'll be responsible for managing a diverse patient population across all ages, including those affected by strokes and other urgent conditions. The role involves using EPIC EMR, reading strips, and managing drips and vents in a fast-paced environment that rarely slows down. The hospital emphasizes teamwork with charge nurses, nurse aides, and a robust IV team, all supporting your efforts. Experience in a NYS Designated Stroke Center and holding an active New York State Nursing License are required. Expect a Wednesday through Saturday rotation or similar schedule, with an average weekly commitment of 36 hours, totaling 13 weeks of impactful service.
