Job Description:

This travel assignment places you in a high-risk labor and delivery unit, where you will manage a full spectrum of obstetric care from start to finish. As a registered nurse, you'll circulate C-sections, interpret EKG strips, and support both antepartum and postpartum patients. The role involves working 12-hour day shifts, with every effort made to include you in two of the major holidays, although scheduling flexibility is required. You’ll experience a fast-paced environment handling approximately 140-165 births per month, with responsibilities spanning from routine labor to complex cases such as preterm labor, bleeding, and hypertensive disorders. This role offers the opportunity to work among OB surgical techs, OB hospitalist coverage, and neonatologists available 24/7, fostering a dynamic and comprehensive obstetric environment. If you’re comfortable circulating C-sections from start to finish, this assignment is a chance to showcase your skills in a supportive yet challenging setting.
