Job Description:

Join this exciting mother-baby unit as a Postpartum Registered Nurse, where you'll provide compassionate care to new mothers and their newborns. Your duties will include assisting with vaginal and cesarean deliveries, managing postpartum recovery, and supporting couplet care, including normal newborn thermoregulation and glucose management. You may also have the opportunity to float to NICU or Labor & Delivery, especially during weekend shifts, ensuring you gain diverse experience. The role involves handling blood products, epidural and PCA pumps, and caring for post-op OB-GYN patients. Expect a 12-hour day shift schedule, with a weekly commitment of 36 hours over 13 weeks, all in an environment that values hands-on support and teamwork.
