Job Description:

Join a 13-week travel contract as a Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse in Wilmington, NC, working 12-hour night shifts. This role offers a hands-on experience caring for patients with diverse diagnoses, including COVID, pneumonia, and diabetes, within a multi-level care setting that includes isolation areas. You’ll utilize your skills in telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation, IV management, and wound care, all while working on a team dedicated to patient well-being. The shift schedule provides a good rhythm and the opportunity to make a real difference when it matters most, especially during storm or disaster situations. Job Specifics:

Location: Wilmington, North Carolina
Shift: 12-hour nights, from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
Duration: 13 weeks, with a flexible scheduling of 36 to 48 hours per week
Additional details: The assignment requires participation in storm and hurricane teams, with the possibility of mandatory work during catastrophic events, and may involve unit consolidation mid-contract. RTO (Time Off) is limited to 7 days maximum, and floating between units is required to meet patient care needs.
