Job Description:

Join us for a 13-week travel healthcare adventure in Peoria, Illinois, where you'll work the night shift in a busy Cardio Thoracic unit that offers plenty of opportunities to hone your skills. This role is perfect for registered nurses experienced in interpreting EKGs, titrating medications like Cardizem and heparin, and managing patients with MI, CHF, A fib, COPD, and lung surgeries. You'll have a chance to work with ventilators, Cpap, Bipap, and high-flow oxygen systems, troubleshooting equipment and reading Phillips monitors. Expect to be part of a supportive team with a 24/7 house supervisor, charge nurse, and dedicated PCTs, all focused on providing excellent care.

Job Specifics:

Location: Peoria, Illinois. Shift: 12-hour nights from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Duration: 13 weeks, with a typical schedule of 36 hours per week. This position offers a competitive weekly gross pay of approximately $2,121.56, with weekend and holiday rotation responsibilities. You will float to other general medical units as needed, and the role requires basic nursing skills, licensure, BLS certification, and experience with medications and equipment management outlined above.
