Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignment in Atlanta offers an engaging experience on a unit that functions like an ICU, but is considered an advanced PCU at Emory. You will be responsible for caring for post-CABG cardiac surgery patients with chest tubes, without vents but with LVADs, requiring specialized knowledge and preparation. The shift is 12-hour nights, providing a unique rhythm to your days and nights. ACLS certification is required, and you should have at least 18 months of experience in the specialty within the past three years. Georgia or a compact license is necessary to qualify for this role, which features a weekly commitment of around 36 hours. This assignment is perfect for a healthcare professional ready for a fast-paced environment where critical cardiac patient care is standard, and your expertise will truly make a difference.
