Job Description:

Join a highly regarded acute care hospital in St. Louis as a step down Registered Nurse, where you'll be responsible for managing patients on a dedicated step down unit. This role involves caring for patients requiring titration of vasopressors, sedation medications, insulin drips, and vents, including trach vents, art lines, external pacemakers, and chest tubes. You'll work 12-hour day shifts, providing essential bedside care in a setting that values your hands-on experience and clinical skills. The assignment offers a 13-week contract with a weekly commitment of 36 hours, and first-timers are welcomed to apply. Your expertise in managing complex medical equipment and medications will help ensure patient stability and safety in a fast-paced environment that recognizes your specialized skills.
