Job Description:

Join a respected medical center in Winston-Salem for a 13-week contract as an RN specializing in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units. This role offers a chance to work night shifts in a 24-bed unit within a Level 1 Trauma designated, teaching hospital with a focus on general medicine. You’ll manage patients with diagnoses like diabetes, gastrointestinal issues, respiratory conditions, and renal concerns, including wound and dressing changes, chest tubes, and tracheostomies. Expect to read telemetry strips, perform lab draws, and operate sophisticated equipment such as IV pumps and PCA devices. This assignment gives you a true taste of hospital life—where patient-centered care and teamwork are top priorities—while providing opportunities for professional growth in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
