Job Description:

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) where you'll be the key player in ensuring patients wake up safely after surgery and transition smoothly through recovery stages. This assignment mainly focuses on PACU, but your Pre-Op experience will also come in handy when preparing surgical patients. You'll work with a team handling a variety of cases, including gen surgery, orthopedics, urology, GYN, plastics, cataracts, and spine procedures, in a fast-paced outpatient setting. Expect to coordinate with a dedicated charge nurse and RN unit supervisor, while reading rhythm strips and managing occasional ventilator equipment. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to apply your PACU expertise in a supportive environment, with the flexibility of covering pre-op when needed and providing patient care in a dynamic surgical unit.
