Job Description:

Our client is seeking a dedicated Step-down Registered Nurse to join their team for a 12-week contract in Glen Burnie, Maryland. In this role, you'll work 12-hour daytime shifts, providing care to adult and geriatric patients with complex medical conditions such as COPD, gastrointestinal bleeding, renal issues, and cardiac dysrhythmias. The shift allows for a balanced work schedule, with every other weekend and scheduled holidays on your roster. You'll use specialized equipment like Viking lifts, EKG machines, and Zoll monitors, while also performing bedside procedures such as thoracentesis and peritoneal dialysis. The setting offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including those who are chronically ventilator-dependent or receiving peritoneal dialysis.
