Job Description:

Join a Level 3 Labor & Delivery unit in Rapid City for a 14-week travel assignment as a Registered Nurse. This role involves managing high-acuity labor patients, including those with preeclampsia, preterm labor, and complicated antepartum cases, along with providing postpartum and couplet care. You'll work 12-hour shifts on rotating days and nights, with every-other-weekend coverage. The unit is equipped with advanced technologies like electronic fetal monitoring and supports a diverse patient population, owing to its Level 3 NICU. Expect to use your skills in cervical checks, IV starts, blood administration, and managing C-sections, as you'll be actively involved in both labor and postpartum care. Candidates with Level 2 nursery experience or NICU know-how will find this assignment particularly rewarding.
