Job Description:

Join a reputable facility in New Orleans for a travel opportunity as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse in a high-risk obstetrics unit. This role involves providing specialized care for mothers with complex needs, handling high patient volumes—around 200-300 births per month—and collaborating with a dedicated team in a teaching hospital setting. You'll be working 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with the chance to contribute during call hours and float to the Mother/Baby unit as needed. Expect an engaging experience that combines clinical expertise with the dynamic pace of a high-volume obstetric environment. Scrubs are provided, and current certifications including ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, and FHM are required.
