Job Description:

Join a dedicated team as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse in Liberal, Kansas, where you'll play a vital role in supporting obstetric and gynecological patients. This assignment offers the chance to work in a facility with a welcoming atmosphere, featuring a 10-bed LDRP unit, 4 beds for GYN and post-op care, along with a well-equipped nursery with 14 beds and a dedicated Special Care Nursery. You'll deliver approximately 900 babies annually with two OB/GYN doctors and three pediatricians, ensuring the seamless care of new arrivals and their mothers. The position involves night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, over a 13-week contract period. Occasional float to Medical-Surgical, ICU, or Emergency Room units may be required, providing an added variety to your experience. This is an excellent opportunity for seasoned nurses with at least 2 years of experience and current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications to contribute their expertise in a supportive environment that values skilled nursing care.
