Job Description:

Join this step-down nursing role at a vibrant Tucson medical center, where you'll be providing high-acuity care to patients transitioning from ICU. You'll work in a true step-down or mini ICU setting, managing cardiac patients, including post-op heart patients, titrating insulin, and administering vasoactive and cardiac drugs. The shift is overnight, with 12-hour night shifts scheduled three times per week, offering a balanced schedule for those ready to tackle complex cases. Patients in this role often require managing tracheostomies, arterial lines, and frequent monitoring—it's ideal for experienced ICU or step-down nurses eager for a change in scenery with a focus on critical patient management.
