Job Description:

Join the team at Wesley Rehabilitation Center in Wichita for a travel RN position in Medical/Surgical nursing. This assignment challenges you to work on a 41-bed unit dedicated to rehabilitation, where you'll collaborate with a seasoned team of over 60 nursing professionals. Expect to handle a busy but rewarding environment that includes tasks such as wound vac dressing changes, blood draws, IV medication administration, and overseeing inhaler or breathing treatments using equipment like patient lifts and glucometers. You'll primarily work 12-hour day shifts, gaining valuable hands-on experience in a post-acute setting, assisting in developing patient care plans alongside an interdisciplinary team.
