Job Description:

Join a step down unit as a Registered Nurse, providing specialized care for patients transitioning from intensive care and med-surg units. This role offers the opportunity to work night shifts in a supportive environment that emphasizes skill mastery, including starting IVs and potentially administering chemotherapy. You’ll be floating to other med-surg areas like the Adult Unit and Emergency Room to ensure comprehensive patient coverage. The pace is steady with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5, and the focus is on clinical excellence and procedural precision. No RTO is permitted during the first eight days, and block scheduling isn’t available, but the experience gained here will elevate your practice.
