Job Description:

Join a renowned teaching hospital in Winston-Salem as a MedSurg/Telemetry RN for an exciting 13-week contract. In this role, you'll work 12-hour night shifts on a unit with 29 beds, caring for patients with diverse diagnoses such as diabetes, gastrointestinal issues, respiratory conditions, renal problems, and those requiring wound care, chest tube management, and tracheostomies. The assignment offers a unique opportunity to hone telemetry skills, including reading strips and managing complex medications like PCA pumps and IV drips, all within a high-acuity setting that combines the energy of an academic medical center with a patient-centered approach. Be prepared to collaborate closely with bedside staff, support services, and a dedicated rapid response team, all while contributing to a hospital that values teamwork and reliability.
