Job Description:

Join our team as a float RN navigating diverse medical and surgical units in Hilo. This two-week night shift position offers the chance to experience a range of healthcare settings, from medical to Laulima surgical units, with occasional forays into the cardiovascular department. You'll be responsible for performing a variety of procedures, including managing wounds, chest tubes, and using Meditech EMR alongside equipment like Pyxis. Flexibility is key as you float between departments based on staffing needs, providing an engaging and varied experience for seasoned nurses comfortable with 2 to 10 years of experience. The flexible schedule involves 12-hour night shifts, with orientation provided to familiarize you with each unit’s protocols and equipment. You'll be expected to maintain professional nursing attire, including clean scrubs, and possess current BLS certification, with ACLS preferred. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to broaden your skills while working in a supportive and dynamic environment.
