Job Description:

This telemetry registered nurse position places you in an overflow IMCU setting where you'll manage patients with complex arrhythmias, post-cardiac procedures, and various cardiac conditions. Your day-to-day tasks include administering cardiac drips such as Amiodarone and Heparin, managing IV medications, and responding to arrhythmia episodes with basic knowledge of cardioversion. Expect a role that challenges your expertise with adult to geriatric patients in a fast-paced environment that values precision and quick thinking. The unit operates with a 1:5-6 patient ratio, utilizing Epic and Pyxis systems, with scrub uniforms in navy blue. This assignment offers the opportunity to fine-tune your arrhythmia management skills in a setting that handles diverse cardiac and surgical cases, with occasional overflow to vascular, orthopedic, or stroke patients. Though clinical work is demanding, the setting is structured to support your growth while providing a satisfying professional experience.
