Job Description:

This contract position is ideal for an experienced SD/PCU Registered Nurse ready to take on a unique 13-week assignment in a high-acuity neuroscience and high-risk respiratory unit. You'll be working 12-hour day shifts in a 36-bed unit that cares for patients with cerebrovascular accidents, seizures, neuro conditions, and those requiring high-flow oxygen and ventilator support. The role involves participating in team and primary nursing models, with a focus on collaborative patient care and workload division. Your day will include managing complex cases, utilizing ventilator equipment, and supporting neuro and respiratory patient needs. Candidates must demonstrate specific SD or PCU experience, including a 1:5 patient ratio, to ensure the team functions smoothly. This assignment offers a great opportunity to expand your critical care skills in a busy, supportive environment.
