Job Description:

Join our team as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse in Wilmington, NC, for a 13-week contract working night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM. In this role, you'll provide skilled nursing care to adult patients with a variety of diagnoses, including diabetes, pneumonia, COPD, sepsis, GI bleed, renal failure, and surgical recoveries. Your responsibilities will involve interpreting and managing dysrhythmias, administering blood products, managing central and peripheral lines, and monitoring ventilators like BiPAP and HFNC. The unit emphasizes teamwork during emergencies, such as rapid response and storm or hurricane situations, making this a resilient environment for dedicated nurses who thrive under pressure. Expect to be hands-on with wound care, medication administration, and patient education, all while delivering compassionate care in a fast-paced setting.
