Job Description:

Join this specialized MedSurg/Infectious Disease unit for a 13-week travel assignment in Parkersburg, WV. You will be working 12-hour night shifts in a facility dedicated to managing infectious diseases such as COVID, MRSA, C-Diff, and other isolation cases. The environment requires strong knowledge of infection control protocols and medication administration, including IV therapies like Heparin. This role offers a chance to work exclusively in private rooms with a dedicated team, including a 24/7 Charge Nurse and dedicated CNA support. It’s a great opportunity for nurses who thrive in a fast-paced, infection-focused setting and are comfortable floating to other MedSurg units as needed. The unit maintains a professional but approachable atmosphere, emphasizing patient safety and team collaboration.
