Job Description:

This 13-week contract offers RN travelers the chance to step into a Med Surg unit on night shifts, working 12-hour shifts in Galesburg, Illinois. You'll be caring for a diverse mix of patients with conditions like COPD, sepsis, CVA, COVID, and post-surgical recovery, all within a 37-bed unit with a combination of private and semi-private rooms. Your role will involve managing patient needs, utilizing EPIC electronic medical records, and collaborating with charge nurses and hospitalists to deliver seamless care—all while enjoying a schedule that includes every other weekend and potential holiday work. The environment is supported by in-house hospitalist coverage, 24/7 pharmacy and monitoring technology, and opportunities for floating within the hospital to broaden your experience.
