Job Description:

Join us as a Respiratory Therapist in Portland's renowned Maine Medical Center, where you'll be part of a dedicated team providing vital respiratory care across various hospital units. This contract offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, acute care environment, covering everything from NICU to ED, with some float requirements. You'll take on a 12-hour night shift, with a weekly schedule guaranteeing 36 hours, including call responsibilities for the oncoming shift. This role is perfect for someone with at least three years of experience, ready to bring their expertise to a prominent teaching hospital and make a difference in patients’ critical moments. Expect to collaborate with a team of 14-16 RRTs, supporting a diverse patient population using advanced ventilators and respiratory equipment, all while working in a facility that values flexibility, teamwork, and excellent communication.
