Job Description:

This 13-week contract opportunity is ideal for experienced Registered Nurses ready to step into a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit on night shifts. You'll be part of a team handling a diverse patient caseload, including orthopedic, pulmonary, cardiac, and psychiatric cases. Expect to float selectively within the scope of your role, including within different units such as Neuro, Trauma, and Observation, ensuring the hospital's staffing needs are met. The role requires thorough knowledge of drips management, EPIC charting, and the ability to care for behavioral health patients on a secured unit. Previous experience at a large, urban hospital is a must, along with a minimum of 2 years in similar settings. Nurses should be prepared for a fast-paced environment where safety and professionalism are paramount, especially given the behavioral health component.
