Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignment places you on a 12-hour night shift within the Adult Medical Specialty Unit in Peoria, Illinois. As a registered nurse, you'll be caring for a diverse patient population with diagnoses ranging from acute infections and dehydration to respiratory failure and behavioral health issues. The role involves managing complex medical conditions such as cellulitis, sepsis, electrolyte imbalances, and uncontrolled diabetes while utilizing your expertise with central lines, tracheostomies, and chest tubes. You'll work with a team that includes nurse aides and respiratory therapists, with remote telemetry monitoring and a charge nurse on every shift. This assignment offers the chance to refine your skills in EPIC documentation and level I trauma center procedures, all while experiencing a community known for its welcoming atmosphere and mild weather suited for outdoor activities.
