Job Description:

Join a respected medical-surgical unit in Charleston for a 13-week travel assignment. As a registered nurse here, you will work 36 hours weekly on a 12-hour rotating shift, covering day and night hours. Your responsibilities include providing direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients with various conditions, primarily those admitted for traumatic injuries, orthopedic, general, plastic, and elective spine surgeries. The role involves collaborating with a skilled team in a Level I trauma center environment that emphasizes recovery, stability, and restorative procedures. This assignment offers a chance to experience working in a teaching hospital with private rooms, where your efforts directly contribute to patient recovery and comfort. The setting encourages flexibility through float within scope and potential block scheduling, with weekend and holiday work every other week. BLS certification is required, and first-timers are welcome to apply.
